We are currently looking for a DevOps Engineer to collaborate with one of our clients, a modern insurance company.
The main responsibilities will involve the setup, maintenance, and enhancement of development environments and application deployments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and system automation, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across all stages of the software development lifecycle.
In this position, you will:
- establish and manage development environments for both front-end and back-end applications
- collaborate with front-end and back-end developers to integrate APIs, ensure seamless data fetching and efficient deployment strategies
- design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, integration, and deployment processes
- update and configure architecture according to the provided proposal (e.g., AWS Glue, Athena/Snowflake)
- configure queue management systems like SQS or Redis
- prepare deployment environments considering worst-case scenarios
- configure and maintain logging systems (e.g., Cloud Watch, Datadog, Solaris Observability, Open Telemetry SDK, Sentry)
- implement metrics and visualization tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Open Telemetry SDK)
- develop and execute performance tests for both backend and frontend projects and integrate performance tests into the CI/CD pipeline
- document high-level system designs, deployment diagrams, and update README files
- maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture and processes
- schedule and manage periodic email generation and support backend developers in integrating email templates and logging sent emails

- proven experience as a DevOps Engineer
- strong expertise in cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and infrastructure management
- proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
- experience with logging and monitoring tools (e.g., Cloud Watch, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
- solid understanding of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation
- experience with performance testing tools (e.g., k6, Artillery.io)
- excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- strong communication and collaboration abilities
- excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
