Contractor Software Engineer (.NET)

OpenNet.pl is a leading provider of technological solutions for the logistics industry. Our main product is an ecosystem called Trucker (Transportation management system) helping our multiple clients handling their daily logistics operations. We have been a part of the Allegro Group since 2021 and together we are working on Allegro logistics operations and the green Allegro One Box parcel machines, of which there are over 5000 across Poland and Czech Republic!

We guarantee participation in complex programming projects that will undoubtedly expand your skills using the latest technologies and design patterns. Additionally, you will actively participate in the analysis and creation of new solutions delivered to our clients. We are looking for experienced C# Engineers, collaborating to create powerful and stable solutions that support a product with over a million active users.

We are looking for people who:

• Have experience in software development using C# language
• Have worked with .NET Core and .NET framework, with a focus on API development
• Are familiar with web technologies such as TCP, HTTP, REST, and version control system GIT
• Have a basic understanding of computer fundamentals, including multithreading, data types, and memory management
• Possess analytical thinking skills and the ability to analyze independently
• Have experience in PostgreSQL database development
• Know Polish and English at B2 level

The following are also a plus:

• Experience in software development using .NET 6+
• Familiarity with cloud solutions, especially Azure
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
• Familiarity with message queue systems like Azure ServiceBus, Kafka, or MQTT
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of unit and integration testing methodologies
• Familiarity with transactional concepts including ACID
• Knowledge of relational database optimization techniques

Your main responsibilities:

• Development and maintenance of existing services in a distributed architecture, as well as creating new components
• Analysis and optimization of the system, proposing new technical solutions and improvements
• Responsibility for delivering high-quality solutions
• Active participation in the code review process and engagement in technical discussions and brainstorming sessions to foster innovation and ensure adherence to best practices
