Job description
What you will be doing:
- Mentoring Engineers on Security Best Practices and Awareness
- Integrate security in the Software Life Cycle and collaborate with Development teams on mitigations of Application vulnerabilities
- Be the first response and remediation for Security-related incidents and participate in on-call rotation
- Facilitate collaboration with other Engineers, Product managers, and Leaders to incorporate Security thinking across Teams
- Perform routine internal penetration testing and develop automated security QA testing
- Acting as an ambassador for the Global Security Guild within your Hub
- Take part in shaping the future of our Global Security Organization
Who we’re looking for:
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience and strong technical knowledge in application security such as those outlined in OWASP Top 10, cryptography, authentication and authorization, and security design architectural patterns
- Good understanding of mobile application security
- Proven ability to work with developers and ensure Applications are secure throughout the Software Lifecycle
- Strong Coding/Scripting experience (Python, Go, Bash, Java)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Deep understanding of Security design Architectural patterns
- Familiarity with security tools for DAST, SAST, and IAST analysis such as Burp Suite, Acunetix, Nessus
- Proven Pentesting experience
