Key responsibilities

• As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you’ll be part of a team enabling software development across a domain.
• With a strong DevSecOps mindset and collaboration skills, you’ll support your team in delivering customer-centric solutions.
• You’ll focus on automation, clean architectures, and quality, using AWS to develop resilient cloud-native applications.
• You’ll contribute to the entire software cycle, promote automation, and explore new tools.
• You’ll work internationally, challenging constructively, driving for excellence, and mentoring junior colleagues.
• Security is paramount in all our work at TUI.

What we are looking for

• Strong JavaScript expertise (e.g., ES6/7/8/next) and tooling knowledge.
• Proficiency in TypeScript.
• Experience with recent JavaScript frameworks, preferably React.
• Understanding of HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and UI design principles.
• Ability to optimize frontend performance.
• Implementation experience with APIs (REST, GraphQL) on client and server sides.
• Proficiency in NodeJS/Go/Java and related ecosystems.
• Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases in a cloud-native environment.
• CI/CD proficiency (preferably GitLab CI), infrastructure as code, and AWS services.
• Knowledge of software architecture principles.
• Strong decision-making and negotiation skills.
• Passion for continuous improvement and team collaboration.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Understanding of the social and ethical aspects of software engineering.
