In addition to strengthening our efforts in our short-range technology portfolio, we have launched a highly disruptive cellular IoT offering that combines a world-class cellular modem with the very best low power. To support the growth, we plan to strengthen our Networks Group that is working on short-range connectivity technologies for ICs. We are looking for a seasoned Software Engineer and a good team player, who will work on 802.15.4 PHY/MAC radio driver component. Working with embedded software in agile development projects, you will be responsible for creating new features and maintaining software foundation for wireless protocols and application ecosystems.
Depending on evaluation role will be classified as Regular or Senior.

Primary responsibilities include:
- Design and implement wireless network stack with the attention to the current consumption, timings, and behavior on various hardware platforms.
- Participating in discussions with different entities to develop a shared-media, shared-hardware multiprotocol solutions.
- Integrating the wireless network stack into the bare-metal and RTOS environments.
- Design and implement future-proof and platform-agnostic APIs.
The ideal candidate has a background from the semiconductor industry with a focus on embedded and IoT systems, and can demonstrate the following background and qualifications:
- Solid C programing skills
- Experience with ARM Cortex-M family low level programming.
- Knowledge of RF-related wireless techniques and problems.
- Experience with embedded RTOS
- Be familiar with python/bash
