We are looking for Thick Client Developers programming in Java Swing to one of our IT project which focuses on maintaining and delivering new features for customer management system used by employees at Nordea.

This is an opportunity for you to become a member of development team investing in CMS system. You will join a team focused on improving the functionality of end client applications. The offer

You’ll join development center, where we work on: server applications, middleware and thick clients. All those components of CMS system are used in 7 countries: (4 Nordic and the Baltics). The system serves services for 25 thousands of users, continuously in the mode 24/7.

What you’ll be doing:

Developing and maintaining the CMS application based on the prioritised features
Being a part of the refining process of new features coming in for future PI’s
Being a part of the work related to our releases (preparing and monitoring releases)
Analysing tasks together with architects and analysts for future development
Estimation of tasks
being a part of one of the teams developing CMS for the future demands

The role is based in Gdynia. Welcome to an international team in which we have significant number of stakeholders: 3 development teams and maintance team, scrum masters, data analyst, architects, testers and product owner.

Your profile and background:

Java Swing (several years of experience on commercial market is required) – thick client dev.
Java 1.8 to support mid-tier application layer
Eclipse, GIT / Bamboo / Jenkins
Practical knowledge of Oracle: SQL and PL-SQL and databases
Fluent English

Additional skills (not mandatory) which we would like see as valuable assets :

Experience in: Postman and SoapUI and other similar tools
Web Services / REST Services / Angular 1.6 and higher
Knowledge of OBS (Oracle Bus Session)
Experience with implementing integrations with Microsoft Exchange
Understanding of event messaging system: Apache Kafka
