Full-Stack Java/JavaScript Developer to: Nordea Core Applications, Gdynia
We are looking for Java Developers to IT projects for banking business. This is an opportunity for you to become a member of IT team which brings innovative services and applications for Nordea.

Your future responsibilities
The Core Application team is designing and developing in-house applications for Nordea. This team work closely with business area and converts business needs into business value.
What you’ll be doing:
Core Application Team in Nordea looks for highly skilled developers in Java, JavaScript and SQL with a desire and talent for working as a full-stack developer, both frontend and backend.
You are pro-active in your daily work, and you always look for improvements to code, structure and processes?
You are ready for giving and receiving feedback is an integrated part of the work in the agile team?
We believe that you are self-driven and motivated by constant development in your skills, technical capabilities as well as business wise.
The role is based in Gdynia. Feel invited to join us on building java in-house applications and javascript services for in-house development and business in Nordea.

Your profile and background:
- At least 5 years’ experience with the following areas:
- Developing Java applications using: Spring MVC, Jasmine, Mockito
- Building microservice using: Java and Spring / Spring Boot framework within one common platform.
- JavaScript libraries and frameworks. We use e.g. AngularJS, JQuery, Lodash, NodeJS.
- SQL and PL/SQL as we use Oracle databases.
- We are using: Atlassian tools, IntelliJ IDEA, GIT, Jenkins, Maven and more.
- Unit testing, early testing of microservices, APIs and web-services. (Junit, Jasmine, Micrometer)
- Readiness to work in Agile setup and respecting Agile ways of working in development
- Good written and spoken communication skills in English
Additional plus:
- Knowledge and experience on web servers such as Weblogic
- Knowledge and experience with Docker Orchestration tool like: OpenShift, Kubernetes, Ansible
