The offer
 
We’re looking for Java developers, experienced in both: front and back end to join first Nordea Payments Service Provider project. You’ll work on completely new solution with latest technical stack using Agile (SAFe implementation). You’ll cooperate with collegues from Poland, Denmark, Sweden and other countries.  
 
What you’ll be doing:  
 
  • Implementing new features (70%)  
  • Maintenance (10%)  
  • Meetings (20%)  
The role is based in Gdynia, Poland. Welcome to a team Backend Applications team in Software Development department.

Your background, as a Backend Developer:  
 
  • Developing applications using Java and related technologies.  
  • Building robust, modular and scalable applications with high quality readable code.  
  • Able to visualize and document business requirements to technical story point.  
Skillset/experience: 

  • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring and SpringBoot, JPA, and object oriented programming. We use Java8.  
  • Experience with JavaEE 6 and above specification as we have few of our applications deployed using WebLogic.  
  • Good understanding of RDBMS and SQL.  
  • Strong experience with REST API design guidelines and developing RESTful APIs.  
  • Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS.  
  • Thorough understanding of secure and standard coding guidelines.  
  • Experience with writing unit, functional tests using Junit, TestNG framework  
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools like Angular, React.  
  • Familiarity with code versioning tool such as Git
