DMSP is a set of processes where private banking advisors (and premium advisors) can manage an agreement for an investment product, including the product opening, deposit/withdrawal of money, giving advice to an private banking customer (or premium) and automated calculation of fees. We’re currently looking for two new developers to automate some manual work.
The current process to manage Discretionary Multi Security Products is manual and has high risk of errors. We would like to automate as many processes as possible to reduce time, cost and risk connected to their processing. To do that we will need two Back-end developers who will deliver the work needed for the area.
Core development team is located in India and business owners in the Nordics – we are planning to gradually move part of development towards Poland so this is a role with great potential. Team is working agile in full SAFe model.
What you’ll be doing:
- Help build architecture roadmap for the project
- Develop new features in Back-end applications
- Tightly cooperate with our stakeholders within all areas of development
- Help build further structures if the project on the Polish side
- Support our stakeholders during releases
- Maintain existing applications
- Perform regular code reviews and commit the code on a daily basis
- Create Nordea wide coding standards and software practices
The role is based in Gdynia.

Your experience and background:
- Good JAVA experience with Spring and Hibernate development
- Experience in Microservices is desireable
- Flyway, Junit, Mockito, REST web services
- Tomcat, Bamboo, Maven, Oracle DB
- SonarQube, Bamboo/Jenkins, GIT, BitBucket
- Understanding of release process, SDLC and “big picture” in it
- Suberb communication skills and willingness to take the lead!
- Fluent English
