The team you’ll be part of
is responsible for starting Linux on embedded platform. This includes preloaders (SoC specific implementation, U-Boot/SPL) and initial Linux configuration (SW and HW). We are responsible for low level drivers based on U-Boot/Linux frameworks like GPIO, I2C, SPI and other HW specific interfaces. We also deliver Linux low level user space application/libraries (e.g. spi lib) for other components written in C/C++.

- Developing, and implementing software utilizing the latest software best practices
- Analyzing and solving complex engineering problems and hitches in U-Boot and Linux area
- Occasional participation in creating and reviewing requirements for functional, design and interface specifications based on system and HW specifications
Your skills and experience
You have:

- Good knowledge of C language
- Solid code analysis skills
- Knowledge of embedded system concepts
- Knowledge of U-Boot and Linux
- Experience with Linux kernel drivers and internal frameworks
- Experience with U-Boot/SPL internals: Driver Model, configuration, usage
- Experience with Device Tree
- Knowledge of basic HW interfaces: I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO
- Basic knowledge of network interfaces
- Version control systems (Git)
- Basic Yocto usage
- Good communication in English (both written and spoken)
- Drive to learn
It would be nice if you have:
- Experience in programming various devices: power sequencers, watchdogs, sensors
- Experience with Yocto BSP layer
- Experience with ARM cores (A9, A5X)
- Experience with Xilinx SDK, FSBL for Zynqmp SoCs
- Experience with Intel Stratix S10
- Experience with Bash and Python
