    Job description

    We are looking for a talented and experienced Linux Scripting Engineer to join our growing team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying complex enterprise applications using Python, Ansible and related technologies. 

    Our “Network Management” team is delivering cutting-edge products that help telecom operators manage their networks and ensure a connected world. Join us as we embark on a journey to transition our products towards cloud-native delivery. As part of the team, you will have a key role in shaping the future of our product by ensuring that architectural proposals meet challenging requirements of rapidly growing telecom networks and keep us competitive in a rapidly evolving market. 


    HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

    • Designing, implementing and maintenance of build processes for multiple concurrent releases of embedded software 
    • Prototyping concepts which proofs feasibility of complex solution proposals 
    • Leading development of technologies, tools, and solutions 
    • Proposing improvements across whole CI and automation environment 
    • Writing scripts to automate build and deployment processes through build systems 
    • Optimizing existing build jobs for simplicity and speed 
    • Executing test suites in the continuous integration process 


    KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of 3 years of commercial experience 
    • Knowledge of Python, Ansible knowledge 
    • Knowledge of containers and container orchestrators (Kubernetes) 
    • Practical experience with version control system git and Jenkins 
    • Deep Linux knowledge incl. kernel, drivers know-how, administration aspects (user mgmt., network configuration, storage setup, etc.) 
    • Experience with CI/CD systems, 
    • Ability to structure complex tasks, problem solving skills 
    • Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities
