Cloud Developer (Java/Go)

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

As part of our team, you will: 

• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to development and maintenance. 
• Create installation and upgrade procedure to deploy own services in cloud based environment. 
• Deploy and manage common services in the cloud like Prometheus, Grafana, Kafka, etc. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions in a microservices architecture. 
• Take lead and contribute to short / mid-term decisions in own area. 

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Our requirements: 

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial experience 
• Practical experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and containerized infrastructure and applications management 
• Knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform or a similar container orchestration platform 
• Experience with Java or Go language development. 
• Understanding of cloud computing services eg. CaaS 
• Practical knowledge of cloud native architecture principles 
• Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities 
• Clean code expert with broad knowledge of software engineering practices 
• Practical knowledge of Git, Gerrit, Jenkins 

We will be more interested if you also have experience in: 

• Developing in Java 8+ and frameworks like Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc. 
• Experience with OCP-V platform. 
• Creating alert models for Prometheus and visualization for Grafana 
• Creating scaling procedures of cloud services
