For our Client we are looking for a Test Engineer to join QA team and strengthen upcoming projects. The company is based in Sopot and they have been operating on the IT project market for over 10 years. They implement IT projects and provide solutions supporting leaders in the insurance sector.
Your daily tasks:
- manual tests (frontend and backend functionalities) – functional tests, regression tests, integration tests, exploratory tests
- automatic tests
- performance tests
- static tests (e.g. documentation)
- dynamic tests (blackbox, whitebox)
- writing and managing test cases
- preparation of test plans
- preparing technical and project documentation
- verification of production critical bugs assessment

Desired skills and experience:
- ability to report errors and diagnosis of reports (Jira)
- experience in manual tests
- good knowledge of principles, methods and test processes
- ability to create test cases and manage test documentation (Xray, TestFLO)
- ability to use developer tools in browsers and interpret two way communication between browser and server (dev-tools)
- knowledge of SOAP and REST services
- basic knowledge of SQL
- ability to plan tests and prioritize implementation tasks
- english knowledge at the communication level (written and spoken)
- basic knowledge of version control systems (e.g Git)
Nice to have:
- experience in writing automated e2e tests (Protractor, Cypress)
- knowledge and experience of working with SoapUI, Ready API, Postman
- basic knowledge of programming languages (JavaScript, Groovy, Java, Python)
- knowledge of ISTQB
- ability to work in AGILE and WATERFALL teams
- backend code debugging (Java)
