What is the project?

Our client is a global company focused on the restaurant industry, providing comprehensive management software for its customers. They maintain and enhance multiple products while also developing new offerings and services in the cloud (Azure).

What does an Azure .NET Developer do?

• To us, an Azure .NET Developer is not only an experienced developer but also a person with great communication skills - we believe that good consultants can easily communicate both with their team and directly with the client.
• They understand the development process and know how to work in a team.
• They provide guidance rather than needing it and can help less experienced team members.
• Last but not least, they are also technically proficient developers with a proven record of projects.

Which skills does an Azure .NET Developer need?

Technical skills

• Proficiency in C# and familiarity with the .NET Framework are required, with a preference for staying updated on advancements in .NET 8 and the latest C# version.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles, with encouragement to follow SOLID principles.
• Working experience with ASP.NET APIs is desired
• Experience with Azure platform from developer perspective. An AZ-204 certification is welcome but not required, although this knowledge may be used in daily work.
• Proficiency in unit, integration, and solution testing techniques.
• Experience working in a DevOps culture and adherence to CI/CD development approaches.
• Enhancing microservices to contribute to the evolution of our architecture.
• Collaboration with internal teams to deliver high-quality features.

Process skills

• We would like you to have an understanding of Scrum/Kanban or another Agile methodology.
• Ideally, you also have previous experience with Atlassian Stack.

Soft skills

• We would like you to be proactive and willing to use your own initiative.
• We would like you to be a team player.
• We would like you to be able to communicate well in English.
• Ideally, you will have the mindset of a consultant (a willingness to help our customers).

What are your daily tasks?

• Design, build and implement web applications & technology platforms.
• Write clean, scalable code using C# programming language.
• Collaborate with Senior .NET devs, Frontend devs, Designers, PO and other team members.
• Revise, update, refactor and debug code.
• Deliver high-quality web solutions international client.
• Last, but not least, remain up to date with the new technologies, concepts and best practices for coding.
