Job description

Online interview
Next Technology Professionals provides professional recruitment services tailored to the requirements of clients, finding the most qualified candidates from the IT industry.

We are looking for three candidates for the position of .NET Developer (2x Mid, 1x Senior)

Conditions of engagement:

Industry: IT consulting (project implemented for Financial Client from the UK)
Location: 100% remote
Start: ASAP (max 1 month notice period, max start from 08/2022 is highly preferred)
Rate: 110 - 135 PLN net / h (Mid), 140 - 180 PLN net / h (Senior) -> setting up individually (depends on skills / tech experience)
Employment: B2B (outsourcing with NEXT), full-time, only long-term (1year+)
Project: we created a new team (5 well-skilled developers started from April 2022, now we need another three .NET teamates to join the project).

Scope of duties:

We will be expanding the stack below. New business functionalities.

  • Background Systems Information
  • The primary residential mortgage banking & servicing system consists of:
o   Third Party Banking System - Phoebus
    o   In-house developed CRM solution - CaseMan
    o   In-house developed Workflow/Task Management solution - ProFlow
o   In-house developed SQL Server Data Warehouse
  • Note: There are additional ancillary applications that have been developed in-house,
    but these provide discrete functionality/services
  • The Banking system, Phoebus, is largely treated as a black box although customisation
has been made by the Vendor. The CRM solution integrates with the Banking system through
both API’s and through direct SQL calls (all systems use Mircosoft SQL Server databases)
  • The inhouse developed applications are written in .Net (mix of C# and VB) and are
Winform applications with significant functionality developed as SQL Stored Procedures. A
number of web services have also been developed in house and provide functionality to the
core system and for external integration. Third party component libraries, Aspose.Word and
Infragistics, are used to provide additional functionality
  • In addition to some internally developed tools, we use a local GIT repository for source
control and Jenkins to automate build and releases
  • .NET Core - yes, it is :)
  • Migration to the AWS cloud (WIP)
  • The front is in Winforms (horrible legacy and it's desktop), so nothing super modern like React, Angular. We will probably need to persuade the business to refactor (so @ this point it will be long-term co-op for sure).

Skills needed:

  • In terms of developer skills, we would normally seek the following:
    ·         Solution design experience
    ·         Advanced SQL Knowledge
    ·         GIT, Subversion, other source control systems
    ·         Jenkins
    ·         C#, VB.Net, Net Core, Winforms
    ·         ETL, SSIS, Tableau, Snowflake, other Data Warehouse related technologies
    (Nice to have)
    ·         Gathering user requirements
    ·         Solid understanding of information management, data modelling, system integration, development methodologies (including unit testing) and web technologies.
  • English B2+

We offer:

  • Stable and secure employment in a company (corporation) with an established position on the market
  • Flexible working hours (EU timezones)
  • 100% remote work
  • Opportunity to work in an international environment, with people open to mutual development, cooperation and transfer of knowledge
  • Being aware that your design suggestions will be heard and taken into account (real impact on the functioning of the project)
