Job description

Nethone (www.nethone.com) belongs to Daftcode group is looking for DevSecOps Engineer. As a company we specialised in AI-driven business intelligence and fraud prevention. Nethone enables online merchants to sell more, earn more, and maximise every dollar they invest in risk management and customer acquisition.

Responsibilities:
  • participate in design and implementation of scalable, high available and secure systems
  • assist development and DevOps teams in implementing security best practices for software build and deployment
  • assist with organization wide security considerations
  • perform security reviews of existing and future solutions
  • collaborate with Head of Security to ensure all software vulnerabilities are tracked and remediated
  • collaborate with development and operations teams to develop the standards for web application security and cloud security
  • perform security assessments of critical company infrastructure and applications as needed
  • handle security incidents
  • automate SysOps/DevOps tasks

  • Dev Ops Team leader
  • Head of Security
  • Team leaders of various development teams


Must have qualifications:
  • minimum of 4 years experience as a DevOps/SysOps Engineer, Cloud Architect or on other position heavily related to security
  • experience with Linux (preferably RedHat/CentOS distributions)
  • experience with public clouds (AWS) 
  • experience with containers (Docker)
  • full end to end understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how to assess them from a security point of view
  • knowledge of security best practices for running high scale and availability applications on the cloud
  • understanding of TCP/IP networking
  • knowledge of version control systems (Git)
  • knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible)

Nice-to-have qualifications:
  • experience with container orchestration systems (Kubernetes)
  • experience designing scalable, high availability systems
  • knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
  • experience with collecting and analyzing performance metrics (InfluxDB, Prometheus, Grafana)
  • knowledge of good practices regarding DevOps and modern applications design (12-factor app, stateless app, microservices, blue/green deployment, canary release)
  • any security related certification will be a plus (CEH, CISSP, CSSLP, OSCP, GPEN, AWS Security, RHSA)
