Currently we are looking for Front End Developer (Angular 2/4) interested in working in a start-up environment with the backing of a global company to develop business applications that will impact employees and customers throughout the world. About project “CEMEX Go”
- The development team works on Global Digital Transformation projects for our client, Global Building Materials Supplier. The team will work in collaboration with our other offices worldwide (mainly Mexico, USA, Spain, Hungary, and India).
- CEMEX Go project is divided in 2 areas: Deployment and Development. The Deployment team ensures the launch of CEMEX Go in UK, Germany, France and Israel (Europe Team based in Prague).
- The team will ensure CEMEX Go localize app to meets the national regulatory standards, as well as create any necessary changes into the template (currency, languages, data and fields, etc.)
The teams will be a combination of Expert Function-Technical consultants as well as Developers, Integrators, Architects, Database specialists, etc. - Expert Functional consultants will understand local Dispatch software and systems, and work in liaison with Technical team for data extraction, processing, and integrating with Cloud systems.

- For our Digital Transformation projects we’re looking for Front End (Angular 2/4) Developer who is familiar with complex business scenarios and cloud environments. We're enabling a middleware solution to connect via web services mobile applications.
- Developer will be member of a multidisciplinary agile development team.
- We are building apps in Angular 2/4+ from scratch and they are built as single page application communicating via REST with different APIs. They are new initiatives and we are not maintaining any legacy project. The applications are hosted in the cloud and right now we are building a set of products aimed at the digitalization of Cemex and the industry they are in. The backend is written mostly in .NET and they are multiple API available for the products.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design and develop new programs, and configuration, taking into account the complex interrelationship of system-wide components.
- Complete life-cycle testing (unit and integration) of all work processes including cross platform interaction.
- Troubleshoot, investigate and persist. Develop solutions to problems with unknown causes where precedents do not exist, by applying logic and inference with persistence and experience, to see the problem through to resolution. Confer with the stakeholder community on problem determination. Make joint analysis decisions on cause and correction methods. Perform tasks necessary to ensure data integrity and system stability.
- Draw solutions from others and recommend courses of action, all the while, growing understanding of company culture and business practices.
- This position interacts with all levels of the organization: support, staff and management. The position may also interact with external customers to consult on technical or business process expectations.
Requirements:
- Advanced level of English (written and spoken, English on daily basis);
- 2+ years of work experience in web development;
- Experience with Angular 2 and TypeScript;
- Knowledge of Angular 4+ is nice to have;
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3 and styling with SASS (or any other preprocessor);
- Experience with multi-browser compatibility, multiple devices support, responsive web design;
- Experience in unit testing and integration testing with Karma, Jasmine;
- Familiar with Webpack and building tools;
- Experience with Agile development (Scrum experience is a plus);
- Working experience within globally distributed multi-cultural teams and cross-region projects;
- Good teamwork and communications skills.
