BUSINESS AREA & TEAM
At NATEK Poland we are looking for an Application Security Engineer who would like to join a challenging project in the banking industry.
The organization is embarking in a period of exciting change with the adoption of the Cloud and a security transformation in how Internet applications and APIs are secured. This role will have the opportunity to help shape the technological future on both of those key areas by assisting with the selection, design and delivery of new solutions and products.
The department teams are split across multiple regions (London 5, Zurich 3, Warsaw 7, India 6) and System/Security Engineers, Developers and Business Analysts collaborate to deliver solutions to secure the banks online services with a range of vendor and custom-built products.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Unique enterprise grade IT Security environment within a highly skilled and experienced team
- Be part of our team from Data Protection and Application Security solution delivery with responsibility for products within the Internet Facing Application security area.
- Designing new, and extending existing systems in the IT Security domain, delivering at global scale and to all business units
- Support organizations, providing third level support and ensuring the maintenance level of various security products
- Direct participation within key global programs and help to shape the future of the Bank's IT services
- Work with a technology security stack consisting of HTTP Reverse Proxy, Web Application Firewall, Authentication, Token Management and Identity Federation Services
ESSENTIALS SKILLS:
- Track record of min. 4 years of work experience in IT within the financial industry and 3 years in a similar role.
- Working knowledge & experience in System Engineering with Linux (Redhat preferred) with a security oriented mindset and cover additionally at least one of the following area:
- Internet Facing Application components (Application Firewalls, Reverse / Forward Proxies, Single-Sign On and Federation protocols)
- Web Security technologies experience
- Scripting (Shell, Perl or Python), coding in Java or other language is helpful
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tooling

DESIRED SKILLS:
- A graduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related subject; alternatively an equivalent education in one of these topics
- You are proficient in English (oral + written), German as an additional asset
