Senior AQA (Python) Engineer

Product details: The project is a comprehensive, cloud-based facilities management solution designed to streamline operations for public sector organizations, commercial real estate, and educational institutions. It offers a suite of tools to enhance maintenance efficiency, optimize space utilization, and improve asset management.

Team composition: 2 software engineers, 2 automation QAs

Technologies: .Net, ASP.Net, Classic ASP, GraphQL, SQL Server, REACT

QA: Robot Framework

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in web applications testing with a focus on automation and performance testing

• At least 4+ years of experience as Automation QA 

• Strong proficiency using Robot framework for automated testing

• Strong proficiency with Python in automation testing

• Strong understanding of testing processes and Agile methodologies, especially SAFe

• Strong experience working with test management systems

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to mentor junior QAs.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with MS Azure 

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain automated test cases using Robot Framework to ensure functionality, integration, and regression testing

• Conduct manual testing to ensure application quality

• Design and implement API and UI test automation frameworks, making use of Robot Framework's keyword-driven approach

• Write custom Python libraries to extend the Robot Framework for specific testing requirements

• Collaborate with the development team to understand new features and ensure appropriate testing coverage

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA team members on best practices for automation and performance testing

• Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and high-quality standards for test code

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions

• Generate and maintain detailed test reports, logs and performance metrics
