My World.com Operations (before Dodax) is a fast-growing e-commerce company that sells media products, toys, IT equipment and a lot more online. We are offering millions of products to customers all over the world using our own software platform.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver technology advisory and architect solutions that extract and maximize business value
- Designing and implementing the services and tools we need to manage and scale a service-oriented architecture, e.g. service discovery, global rate limiting, distributed tracing, container orchestration, and more
- Research and development on the latest virtualization and cloud technologies, tools, and capabilities
- Systematically debugging issues across the stack down to the root cause
- Evangelizing best practices to the wider engineering organization
Who you are
- At least 4+ years of experience with cloud and Kubernetes migration deployments
- Experience with large-scale multi-datacenter environments
- Excellent analytical and social skills with the ability to work successfully across all engineering disciplines
- Hands-on mentality & Can-Do-Attitude
- Fluent in English ( international environment )
- Good understanding of Agile / SCRUM framework
Nice-to-have:
- Databases: Elastic Search, Cassandra, Redis
- Previous e-commerce experience
