Department Overview

At Motorola Solutions, we create technologies our customers refer to as their lifeline. Dimetra is providing a mission critical TETRA-based communication system. Dimetra (TETRA) Systems and Integration Tests Team is responsible for Integration and system level verification of TETRA / Dimetra IP systems and infrastructure. Critical communication systems we are designing and developing utilizes various technologies commonly used in areas as RF transmitting, IP networking, OSes administration, client-server communication, systems administration and cybersecurity.

Job Description

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:

• Integration of Dimetra systems including RF sites, transport network, servers and terminals
• Analysis of system requirements for Dimetra IP systems working in TETRA standard Design and development of real system usage scenarios and testcases
• Systems configurations preparation for Transport Network, Base Stations, Core kl Servers, all SW applications, all interfaces, mobile subscribers)
• Validation of system funcionalities, analysis or results, analysis of logs, debugging of applications and all interfaces in the system, protocols stacks debugging
• Working with number of additional tools that are used for debugging and analysis
• Validation of system design and architecture including collaboration with architects/SD and boxes development teams.

Basic Requirements

• Professional education in science domain, graduted in or during studies of Telecommunication, Information and Communications Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, Automation or related
• Knowledge of IP networks (v4), routing protocols in IP networks, knowledge of TCP/IP
• Basic knowledge of operating systems: Linux, Unix, Windows 10/11, Windows Server
• Willingness to gain new knowledge and career development in the field of systems engineering
• Goal oriented approach
• English language at a level that allows free communication
