Krakow Device Management team develops software solutions that enable users to provision, configure and upgrade their Motorola devices and entire fleets. Our products are used by various customers around the world including public safety (police, firefighters, military) and commercial (car manufacturers, theme parks, railways). The team is responsible for end to end software development life-cycle, including: creation and implementation of requirements, unit testing, functional testing, continuous integration and delivery.
Together with developers and testers you will be a part of a Scrum team. Your responsibilities be:
- JAVA8 (occasionally JAVA11) with Maven framework development
- Implementation of functionalities based on provided requirements
- Unit & Sanity Test creation
- Code Debugging & Defect fixing
- Conducting manual functional testing, regression testing
- Cooperation with other teams or business representatives
We are working on an entire system of applications written in JAVA8/JAVA11 on both the client & server side with Maven frameworks with the addition of PostgreSQL DB operations.
Basic requirements:
- 2+ year of experience in software development
- Strong knowledge about JAVA8 and JAVA11 with Maven framework (on scale from 1 to 10 —> 7 or 8)
- Experience with IntelliJ IDE
- Ability to perform tests against on prem applications, both front-end and back-end.
- Communicative English - verbal and written
- Ability to interpret requirements and coin them into tests scenarios
Experience with some of the following would be an advantage:
- C# & .NET6 Framework
- Practical Knowledge about Atlassian Suite Tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Experience with Jenkins
- Experience with Manual Testing
