Department Overview

In the PCR (Professional and Commercial Radio) department we are developing and delivering software used for business and mission critical communications & workflows in MOTOTRBO systems and Safety Reimagined solutions. Our solutions are omnipresent in many verticals important in everyday lives such as healthcare, public safety, transportation, logistics, education, hospitality, energy, manufacturing, retail and many others. Our teams are following modern software development practices like continuous integration/continuous deployment, DevOps, component- and system-level automated testing. We use agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to organize our work ranging from cross-functional teams to portfolio management. As owners, we are responsible for end-to-end software development life-cycle, including: specification and design, implementation, testing, delivery and maintenance.

About Us

Two years ago we started the PCR Consolidated Gateway project which had been to extend our portfolio of MOTOTRBO communication systems. Since then we have successfully moved from prototyping and early product phases to our first release. Right now, the main goal of our Krakow team is to extend product functionality. 

Our Team and Product

 PCR Consolidated Gateway team develops software that integrates several application gateways within a single platform, connects MOTOTRBO to the cloud and provides a cloud portal with unified UX. The team is responsible for end-to-end software development life-cycle, including: specification and design, implementation, testing, delivery and maintenance.

Our product is designed in line with the newest trends in software development and is deployed in Microsoft Azure cloud. We work using Angular, TypeScript on frontend, Node, Java, Spring boot on backend, PostgreSQL as DB. We use GitHub for our DevOps, with K8s, Grafana, Kibana and Playwright for tests. We are using Scrum and CI/CD practices in everyday work. 

Your Role

You will be a part of the development team which is responsible mainly for new features delivery, but also for existing product maintenance. As a full-stack engineer you will have an opportunity to shape the visual part of the application and also to support the development on the server side.

Basic Requirements

It is important that you:

• Have strong technical skills
• Have strong, practical knowledge of frontend technologies (TypeScript, Angular)
• Have experience with cloud architectures
• Have basic experience with Linux
• Have English language skills at level allowing efficient communication
• Work with passion and an agile mindset

It would be nice if you:

• Had experience with Microsoft Azure cloud
• Had knowledge related to security
• Understood CI/CD practices
• Had experience in Java
• Had some databases knowledge
