Project description: The aim of the project is to create a modernized library website from scratch and meet the needs of both library staff and patrons. This brand-new platform will revolutionize the way users find and access relevant content, resources, and services, supporting their education, research, and teaching endeavors. The key focus of the project is to implement advanced search functionalities, including semantic search, to enhance the discoverability and accessibility of library materials.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Python,
- Good knowledge of at least one other programming language
- Ability to use Git or SVN version control system,
- Unit testing skills,
- AWS,
- Fluent in spoken and written English,
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of React,
- Familiarity with C++,
- Familiarity with AI
Please note that the interview process is divided into four parts:
- Technical phone screening~30 minutes
- Technical interview~2 hours
- Non-technical call with hiring manager~45 minutes
- Optional: call with client for which you will be working
