    Our client: Montrose Software is collaborating with leading player in the Capital Markets industry, providing innovative solutions for trade management and risk control. Operating across three dynamic sites: London, Toronto, and Sydney, we offer a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.


    Job description: We are seeking mid and senior Java Developers to join our team and contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of the Capital Markets Trading Systems. In this role, you will play a key part in rewriting the Java system while supporting the production traders in resolving issues, implementing new features, and ensuring seamless operation across platforms.


    Qualifications:


    • Java, Intermediate/advanced level
    • Familiar with IntelliJ and Cucumber software
    • GIT
    • SQL (basic level)
    • Familiar with UNIX operating systems 
    • Experience with Excel
    • Have very good English ( at least B2)


    Nice to have:


    • Python (basic knowledge)
    • Finance knowledge
    • Knowledge of JIRA (understand development process) 
    • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum.


    Please note that the interview process is divided into four parts:


    1. Technical screening (~30 minutes)
    2. Technical interview( ~2 hours)
    3. Non-technical call with hiring manager(~30 minutes)
    4. Optional: call with client for which you will be working
