Senior Backend Developer with Node.js (Freelancer)

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with Node.js to join our team and help us create elegant and efficient web and mobile applications as a freelancer

You are - ideally

• Experienced with Node.js
• Familiar with at least one modern framework (Express.js, NestJS, Fastify, koa, hapi)
• Fluent with other technologies such as SQL/NoSQL databases
• Equipped with real-world git experience
• Thoroughly testing your code
• Ready to discuss and iterate over your ideas during code reviews
• Communicating well in English (both written and spoken)
• Able to work asynchronously

Big +

• Familiar with Typescript
• Comfortable with a highly iterative agile methodology that includes providing time estimates and managing feedback loops
• Familiar with automation tools (e.g. Ansible) and containerization (e.g. Docker)
• Previous experience as a freelancer

You will

• Create and maintain scalable, tested web applications
• Work asynchronously in a highly collaborative team with fellow designers, project managers, and backend and front-end developers on innovative web products
• Take part in project meetings and alignments and work closely with the rest of the delivery team
• Review code

Salary (hourly rates)

15 000 - 25 000 PLN + VAT (B2B Contract)
