Hi! We are Monterail. A team of developers and designers building beautiful and meaningful software everyday. We work with clients around the globe. We help businesses of all sizes in all continents with high profiled Ruby on Rails, Python and JavaScript development skills as well as strong product and UX design expertise.
We are continuously expanding our projects portfolio by developing our current business relationships, increasing the complexity of our services as well as acquiring new clients. However, we are not planning to grow exponentially as we wish to preserve our culture along the way. Instead, we aim to achieve sustainable growth over time, focusing on hiring the best people and making it a natural process when new team members show up.
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team and help us create elegant, well-tested and efficient web applications.
You are - ideally
- Communicative team player
- Fluent in English - both verbal and written communication
- An excellent prioritizer and can manage your workload well
- A great listener and know how to ask the right questions
- Able to describe complex problems in an understandable fashion
- Well-oriented in modern web applications from the user's perspective
- Experienced with writing test plans
- Testing both web and mobile
- Able to efficiently use multibrowser and multidevices testing tools (like eg. Browserstack)
- Using Jira and Git without any issues
Big +
- basics of JavaScript
- API testing (eg. REST, GraphQL)
- Familiar with Selenium and/or Cypress
- Aware of modern UX trends and practices
- ISTQB certificate
You will:
- Design and execute manual and automatic test cases using appropriate QA techniques
- Manage and maintain the test environment on a basic level
- Provide feedback for the development team and customers
- Ensure that quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved
- Proactively support the product improvement process
- Coordinate testing efforts within the team
- Promote quality awareness within the team and the organization
Salary
Regular: 7 000 - 11 000 PLN netto on B2B (Faktura)
or 5 810 - 9 130 PLN brutto on an employment contract (UoP)
Senior: 11 000 - 14 000 PLN netto on B2B (Faktura)
or 9 130 - 11 620 brutto
Negotiable depending on skills, experience and your potential
