Since 2011 we have been providing software solutions in the area of eCommerce. Specialising in creating and optimising online stores on Magento platform. We have implemented both custom and scalable software. This year we have become an official Adobe and Magento partner.

Monogo's IT eCommerce group is looking to add an eCommerce IT Analyst, sitting in Warsaw.

Job brief:

We are looking for an eCommerce IT Analyst to gather requirements from internal customers, drive the CHG, and make sure it is implemented within agreed time frames, in fully agreed functional scope and cost-efficient.

Ecommerce IT Analyst responsibilities include prioritising user requirements, overseeing system upgrades and researching new tools. In this role, you should be highly analytical and able to understand business needs. Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities are essential. If you also have hands-on experience with technical projects, we’d like to meet you.
Your goal will be to leverage tech solutions to meet organisational needs.

Ecommerce IT Analyst Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Understanding business and technology needs.
  • Lead medium complex projects in the areas of eCommerce independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Develop and facilitate groups as necessary to gather process owner requirements through various. elicitation techniques and effective communication.
  • Ability to suggest alternative methods of problem resolution, if applicable.
  • Develop detailed requirements suitable for business review, software testing capability and code development.
  • Work with Business Stakeholders, Product Owner(s), Developers, Quality Assurance Testers, Technical Architects, Scrum Master / Project Manager, Support, Training and Supervisors in a collaborative and shared-learning environment.
  • Clarify requirements during Project / Sprint Planning and answer requirements related questions throughout the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Work with third-party software providers to ensure solutions meet the needs of Ferguson.
  • Plays a second/third level support role by helping to troubleshoot and resolve issues with production systems.
  • Participate in design, review and presentation of training and support content such as FAQ and Knowledge documentation.
  • Meet agreed upon deadlines and communicate or escalate in a timely manner when deadlines are at risk.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an IT Analyst, IT support or similar role.
  • Knowledge of databases, system security and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of business practices.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Problem-solving aptitude.
  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
  • Strong PC skills with specifics toward all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Open minded about alternative solutions, not constrained by the way processes have always worked within any particular company.
  • Must be experienced in the Software/System Development Life Cycle.
  • Must be self-motivated, proactive, creative and efficient.
  • Must be detail-oriented and thorough with the ability to meet aggressive deadlines.
