Job Description

Our Customer is a global leader in financial technology innovation, dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions that revolutionize the industry. Our team is committed to pushing the boundaries of technology and driving forward-thinking initiatives that shape the future of finance.

We are seeking a talented Senior Front-End Engineer with expertise in React to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Front-End Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and enhancing our front-end applications, utilizing your strong technical skills and passion for innovation to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement front-end solutions using React.
• Utilize your expertise in JavaScript, including object model, DOM manipulation, event handlers, and data structures, to create robust and scalable applications.
• Demonstrate a complete understanding of React and its main fundamentals, including JSX, Virtual DOM, and component lifecycle.
• Leverage your experience with React workflows such as Flux, Redux, and Create React App to build efficient and maintainable code.
• Ensure browser compatibility and mitigate browser-compatibility issues by supporting different browsers and employing best practices.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, JSON web tokens, and web services, while adhering to industry standards and best practices.
• Utilize HTML/CSS and ES6 to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.

Qualifications

Basic:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 8+ years of strong experience working with front-end technologies, with a focus on React.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, ES6, and code versioning tools like GIT and/or SVN.
• Experience with popular front-end development tools, CI/CD tools, and performance testing frameworks.
• Strong debugging skills and experience with debugging tools

Highly Preferred:

• Understanding of React test frameworks such as Jest, Enzyme, and Jasmine.
• Previous experience in back-end development with Java.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of containerization with Docker.
• Previous experience working in the fin-tech or other highly regulated industries.
• Basic knowledge of Angular is a plus.

Additional Information:

• This is a hybrid work opportunity, requiring attendance at the customer's office in Warsaw twice a week for team relationship-building purposes.
• Due to the nature of our work in the financial market, candidates will be subject to detailed background screening including education, employment history, and criminal record.
