Job Description

Our Customer is a leading global provider of cutting-edge payments technology solutions, dedicated to shaping the future of financial transactions worldwide. With a commitment to innovation and excellence, we connect consumers, businesses, financial institutions, and governments in over 200 countries and territories through our advanced processing networks.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on software development to join our dynamic team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and enhancing our Payments and Security platforms in an agile development environment. You will be responsible for implementing automation, tools development, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of supported software technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance Payments and Security platforms in an agile development environment.
• Implement automation and tools development to streamline processes related to CI/CD, Auto Deployment, System Availability, etc.
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our systems.
• Experience with distributed async event streaming platform, especially Kafka.
• Experience with both NoSQL and SQL datastores, including Oracle, MySQL, Cassandra, MongoDB.
• Experience with large-scale active-active systems environments managed through Kubernetes technologies.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead global, cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 8 years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 6 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters/MBA/JD/MD) or at least 2 years of work experience with a PhD.
• Experience with tools development, automation (CI/CD, Auto Deployment, System Availability, etc.).
• Solid understanding of gPRC, REST, JSON, and other relevant API standards like OAuth, SAML.
• Experience with distributed async event streaming platform, especially Kafka.
• Experience with both NoSQL and SQL datastores, including Oracle, MySQL, Cassandra, MongoDB.
• Experience with large-scale active-active systems environments managed through Kubernetes and container (Docker) technologies.
• Experience in Agile Release Management practices, governance, and planning.
• Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to lead global, cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Additional Information:

• This is a hybrid work opportunity, requiring attendance at the customer's office in Warsaw twice a week for team relationship-building purposes.
• Due to the nature of our work in the financial market, candidates will be subject to detailed background screening including education, employment history, and criminal record.
