    Our customer is an Electric Vehicle (EV) Infrastructure company, developing their next generation of AC and DC vehicle charging solutions. Together we’re on a mission to create a more reliable and emission-free mobility infrastructure. The AC wallbox and DC fast-charging product portfolio you will be supporting include legacy and next generation solutions covering multiple market segments, including residential, public, and industrial. 

    As a result, we are looking for LAB Manager to join our team. Your roles and responsibilities will include managing the LAB for vehicle chargers while providing expertise in the field of end to end LAB management including stakeholders management, overall project management and software/hardware procurement.


    Key responsibilities:

    End-to-end LAB management including

    • technical specification preparation
    • cabling management from design to installation
    • connecting and disconnecting the EV charger to the core power installation
    • perform analysis and calculations with regards to EV charger power consumption
    • power installation maintenance and support
    • technical expertise delivered to the procurement team
    • establishing safety procedures in accordance with OSHA/BHP
    • ensuring the team is aware and compliant with OSHA/BHP procedures
    • communication with all stakeholders


    Due to nature of the role remote work is not allowed.


    Qualifications

    • at least a bachelor’s degree in power engineering
    • hands-on experience in production or power plant LAB
    • good knowledge of the industrial power installation
    • knowledge and compliance with safety regulations like OSHA/BHP, certification in this area is an asset
    • great problem solver
    • communication and soft skills on a high level
    • good command of English

    Nice to have:

    • experience in manual hardware and software testing
    • knowledge of the automotive industry
    • experience in EV chargers is an additional asset
