Job description
For our client, we are currently looking for a Data Architect/Modeler. We are building a BI / DWH department, so a person in this position will have a real influence on the procedures, tools and warehouses used on the project. There will br 7-8 people in a team. We are looking for an Architect, but also analysts and data modelers. The main task will be to design a data warehouse from scratch. The warehouse will count up to 1 terabyte, but it will grow.

Technologies: MySQL and other DBs, Cloud- AWS, ITIL, Phyton.
Key responsibilities in the role:
- Design and maintain consistent data warehouse architecture and data models
- Deliver data warehouse architecture artefacts in line with IPF standards
- Support business projects in products’ delivery as well as other business functions by designing new data flows consistent with data warehouse architecture
- Cooperate with IT system/enterprise architects in data warehouse solution architecture design
- Cooperate with BI & data warehouse specialists making sure that designed solution is properly developed and realizes business benefits
- Ensure quality, consistency, availability and data security in the data warehouse solution
- Support Data Governance policies design and maintenance from data warehouse solution architecture point of view
Key requirements to be successful at your job:
- Expert knowledge of data warehousing (experience in architect’s role), database programming and optimization
- Experience in data warehouse programming and optimization and in multidimensional modelling
- Ability to manage data warehouse solution architecture and data model
- Ability to effectively influence and challenge
- Ability to effectively communicate to business and technical people from specialist to management levels
