Job Description

• Work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow developers to establish both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Design, communicate, and enhance the architecture of our systems.
• Develop features with clean, well-structured, thoroughly tested, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Provide mentorship and support to team members through pair programming and insightful code reviews.
• Play an active role in continually refining our development processes and tools.

The Successful Applicant

• Over 8 years of experience in Python programming.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive mindset with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership for the systems you create and maintain.
• Solid expertise in systems design.
• Skilled in working with distributed systems and designing solutions that scale effectively.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, with a focus on database design and performance tuning.
• Familiar with DevOps principles and best practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Experienced in developing applications for AWS (or other cloud platforms).
• Strong background in testing methodologies and practices.
• Proficient with version control systems like Git.
