Our Opening and Your Role
Within the functional area, the PLM Implementation Engineer is responsible for configuration and customization of the PLM system at a global level and works in close collaboration with the Solution Architect, Business Analyst, and Delivery Lead. Plans contribute to, and/or executes PLM projects with Mettler Toledo subsidiaries.

Your Role
  • Implement configuration and customization of PLM applications according to the functional and technical specifications delivered by the Solution Architects and Business Analysts.
  • Develop solutions in highly complex environments involving global sites and teams.
  • Work in complex and challenging PLM environment with integrations to enterprise systems.
  • Perform the unit tests in the development environment at the end of each implementation document results and correct issues.
  • Software testing and quality assurance. 
  • Provide support for complex incident resolutions and root cause analysis.
  • Work in coordination with PLM Delivery Lead in order to plan and prioritize activities.

Your Profile
  • Masters or bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent education. 
  • Knowledge of:
    • Java 
    • C++ 
    • Microsoft Visual Studio
    • Web development: Javascript, HTML, CSS. 
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent team player capabilities and communication skills.
  • Independent, accurate way of working and understanding of complex processes and interdependencies, high problem-solving ability. 

  • Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends.
  • Travel requirements up to 10%.

That would be your additional asset:
  • Microsoft SQL knowledge.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g. Jenkins, GIT).
  • Knowledge of Eclipse suite and software versioning and control system (i.e. Apache Subversion and related clients).
  • Knowledge of implementation techniques for Siemens Teamcenter.
