The Role
We are looking for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer/SME to work on a long term IT programme for our UK based Financial Services client. You will join a remote team of Meritum Cloud Infra/DevOps Architects and work alongside the client's UK-based Development Team providing advice and expertise across Application Security and DevOps disciplines.
The scope of work includes design/implement/migrate/improve activities across AppSec, API Management, ASE, Containerization and Security in mature Dev/Test/Prod Microsoft Azure environments.

Your technical background
- Understanding of and experience in deployment/set-up of security tools within the software development lifecycle pipelines.
- Software Composition Analysis (SCA) tools
- Static Application Security (SAST) tools
- Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) tools
- Experienced with requirements gathering from technical and business audience
- Hand-on knowledge of building and executing security tests for different products (web and API)
- Able to analyze findings and recommend security improvements
- Knowledge and experience in using Azure DevOps (Repos and Pipelines services) for infrastructure and applications deployment.
- General Azure knowledge with a focus on
- API Management
- App Service Environment
- Azure Container Services
- Experience in integrating Service Now with Azure DevOps pipelines
Your profile
- Experience of working with an international client base
- Very good command of English (written and spoken minimum B2)
- Self-driven DevOps Pro with excellent prioritizing and planning skills
- Customer and service oriented, ability to resolve problems and think outside the box
- Team player with 'can do' attitude who can build effective relationships
