Job description
As a startup with locations in Eindhoven, London, Gdańsk and Monaco we are looking for the best Java Developers and helping them grow both professionally and personal.
We help globally recognised brands deliver groundbreaking digital experiences to their customers. We are a startup but our founding members come from leading media and TV companies. In fact, the chances are last time you watched TV we played a part in bringing it to your screen. TV is where it all started for us, but we’re rapidly expanding into the IoT (Internet of Things) space and will make some exciting announcements there soon.
About this position
As a Cloud Software Developer at Merapar you will build great software using Amazon Web Services, share knowledge and find new ways to solve problems together. You will join a skilled and motivated team, hit the ground running and think on your feet. We offer flexibility and freedom in return for passion and commitment.
What you will do
- Design and implement new features using AWS
- Take care of setting up cloud infrastructure
- You will be responsible for quality assurance, documentation and problem analysis
- Correct execution of functional and non-functional test cases / test procedures (including understanding of test purpose, correlation of test results)
You may be a good fit if
- You have a degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of relevant work experience in this area
- You bring wide experience Cloud Computing (Amazon AWS) competencies
- You have an experience in at least one of those programming languages: Java, Python, Node.JS
- You have developed APIs in the past
- You are used to an agile development environment
- You are open-minded and curious about new technologies
- You are able to propose improvement suggestions and identify and solve problems
- You have a good knowledge of English (speak/read/write)
