Database Administrator (full relocation package to Cyprus in covered). ✈️

📋 Responsibilities:

• Building uninterrupted and stable operation of MariaDB, PostgreSQL database servers (mainly MariaDB);
• Setting up replication and partitioning, backup / restore, checking the integrity of replicas;
• Performance analysis: work with monitoring and logs, setting up notifications; search and elimination of bottlenecks;
• Ensuring the information security of the database;
• Interaction with developers: help with query optimization, schem and index optimization.

✅ Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience working with loaded databases;
• Experience with Ansible;
• Setting up failover clusters experience:
• Master-Slave;
• Multi Master / Galera cluster.
• Understanding the principles of relational databases and the ability to optimize work for high performance:
• MariaDB/MySQL;
• PostgreSQL.

➕ Will be a plus:

• MaxScale/ProxySQL
• PMM
• ClickHouse
• Prometheus;
• ELK;
• Cassandra;
• NoSQL DB
• Automation experienced in scripting languages: bash/python.
