Front-end Engineer

Maxio was born in April 2021 when Battery Ventures invested +$150M to bring together two companies that were each amazing in their own right: SaaSOptics, which streamlined financial operations and analytics for SaaS businesses, and Chargify, the leader in billing and subscription management for B2B SaaS.

Both Chargify and SaaSOptics did amazing work creating must-have tools for CFOs and product leaders. By bringing them together, Maxio has created an opportunity to build tech that’s essential not just for CFOs, but also for CEOs, investors, and every other SaaS business operator: a true “SaaS-in-a-box platform” that will unleash growth for subscription businesses all the way from startup through IPO.

Maxio is seeking a Front-end Engineer 🚀 to be a core part of our team.

You will be a member of engineering team working in Scrum methodology - building a scalable and reusable user interface layer for multiple applications.

You will help improve the development process by actively participating in backlog refinements, retrospectives and other Scrum events.

Front-End Technology Stack

• React, XState, Styled-Components, Tailwind CSS
• TypeScript, Webpack, Lerna, NX, Jest, React testing library, Playwright
• GitHub Actions, Docker, AWS S3, CloudFront

WHO:

• Proven experience with building front-end applications (minimum 3 years)
• Minimum 1 year experience with React 
• Experience with state management tools such as Redux, XState or MobX
• Experience with TypeScript
• Experience in debugging and profiling front-end applications
• Comfortable with revision control systems (GIT)

NICE TO HAVE:

• Familiarity and skills to build CI / CD pipelines
• Experience with AWS services like S3 and Cloudfront
• Experience with test automation tools (Cypress.io / Playwright)
