YOUR TEAM:

You will be working in autonomous teams that have the freedom to drive innovation themselves. You will add value right away with coding, building, testing, deploying, monitoring.

We are always looking to innovate; every engineer gets one day, every other week (AKA the 1st day of each sprint!) to investigate new technologies, expand their knowledge and prototype new ideas or features.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to lead a small team of great engineers, working alongside a product manager to prioritise and deliver work.

OUR TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT:

Pretty much all of our software at MarketInvoice (including the application forms, trading infrastructure and payments gateway) has been developed in-house. Our core platform is built in .Net C# WebAPI and ReactJS but the choice of technologies is continually evolving. Our data team is currently working in R, python, NodeJS and F#.

YOUR PURPOSE:

THE TECH BIT

6+ years experience working with C# (7) and .NET technologies
WebAPI (1 & 2) and Entity Framework
Experience with Javascript frameworks such as Angularjs or Reactjs (Redux).
Experience with cloud platforms, ideally Azure.
SQL Server / SQL Azure.
Unit / Integration / Acceptance / Regression testing using NUnit & Jest.
An interest in learning new languages and platforms.
Team ethic. You make change happen by working with & through others.
“Can do” attitude - when faced with a business or technical obstacle you will not run and hide. You should be able to describe the issues you’ve encountered, your approach to solving them and your final solution.
Finance/fintech experience is beneficial, but not necessary.
