NAS/SAN Storage Administrator

Your role & responsibilities:

SAN (Hardware equipment, zoning, storage systems) management
SVC (SAN Volume Controller) management
NetApp ONTAP activities / knowledge
Maintenance and troubleshooting issues related to storage environment
Planning and maintaining firmware upgrade and/or patching of storage devices
Disaster Recovery tests – planning, preparation and participation
SME on storage and virtualization
Storage provisioning on various storage devices
Monitoring and performance analysis (Nagios, BMC Remedy, Wotan)
Automation through Scripting (Bash, Python, Perl,Ansible)
Support in technical Projects and creation and maintenance of documentation

Your skills & strengths:

Degree in Computer Science with Network Technology
At least 4 years of experience in Storage environment
Very good command of English (spoken and written)
Good command of German will be a plus
Team player with good conflict solving skills
Good time and self-management
Ability to work under deadline pressure
Good communication skills with a strong customer focus
Ability to push things through in a constructive manner
