About the role:

In this role you are going to develop, maintain and support existing pricing applications. That’s why we are looking for the person who is experience in working with legacy systems (Java8, PLSQL, Oracle) in area of refactoring, rebuilding, and evolving them to follow newest pricing strategy.

As a part of a wide community of Java developers in Lyreco you will be responsible to bring the newest trends and approaches to make critical pricing applications futureproof and enjoyable to work with.

• Development/Refactoring/Rebuilding of Pricing applications.
• Investigating and fixing bugs in existing application.
• Contribute to the analysis and provide estimation of work.
• Perform code reviews for colleagues.
• Contribute to scrum ceremonies as an active team member.
• Contribute to solution designs together with tech leads and architects.

Our requirements:

• Bachelor in IT, minimum 3 years of experience in development
• Proficiency in Java Programming language.
• Knowledge about pricing domain is a big +.
• A clear understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Understanding Clean Code, Clean Architecture principles.
• Docker, Kubernetes is a +.
• Experience in NoSQL is a +.
• Experience with message brokers like Kafka is a +.
• Experience in building distributed systems is a +.
• Good level in English
