EDI Support Engineer


Main responsibilities:


  • Provide support for operational issues related to interfaces.
  • Actively support the maintenance and monitoring of integration platforms and interfaces at run time.
  • Identify root causes of incidents and define or implement remedial solutions.
  • Timely completion of changes to connectivity configuration, including certificate renewal and other changes initiated by partners.
  • Effective and timely follow up on incidents related to interfaces in cooperation with business and integration team.
  • Arrange production deployments and provide post go-live support.
  • Nurture good relationships with local stakeholders.
  • Strictly follow priorities defined by the business.
  • Assist in updating required interfaces documentation together with functional teams.
  • Complete changes to mappings as needed in order to correct issues or in case of extensive changes help to define the required changes for development team.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members as required.
  • Contribute to delivering a long-term roadmap for integration architecture.


Qualifications and skills:


  • Fluent business English (written and spoken)
  • A team player able to build and develop networks.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Familiar with use of ALE/RFC in SAP and use of SAP in general
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in EDI integration
  • Knowledge of or experience with any of the following is a plus:
  • EDI Communication protocols (HTTPS, AS/2, SFTP, X.400, etc.)
  • EDI Message formats (XML, EDIFACT, IDOC, etc.)
  • Web services, Restful APIs
