PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Our team develops a large scale enterprise application based on Microservices architecture. The system is designed to provide and maintain golden source of highly demanded data in a Client Lifecycle Management domain for a top tier Investment Bank. We are looking for a Senior Java Developer who would be able to lead a small Scrum team, bringing new ideas, following the industry trends and standards, improving the stack of technology used in the project
WHAT YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL LOOK LIKE:
- Technical leadership of a small team of Java developers
- Implementation of new features
- Planning and estimation of development efforts, control of the execution
- Active participation in system design
- Code review
- Close collaboration with other team members to facilitate smooth transition of development flow from requirements to testing and deployment
- Development of unit tests to provide good code coverage
SKILLS YOU SHOULD HAVE:
Must have
- Strong experience in software development, including core algorithms and data structures, design patterns and principles
- 3+ years of experience in Java 8
- Experience in Spring Framework, Spring Boot and Spring Cloud
- In-depth knowledge of relational databases and SQL, design of complex relational structures
- Proficient with build / deploy tools (Maven, Jenkins), Git / Github
- Basic usage of Linux, shell scripts
- Agile development processes
Nice to have
- Experience of working in Cloud environments, e.g. Azure (preferred)
- Experience in implementation of the MicroServices Architecture, building REST API
- Front-end experience (JavaScript / HTML / CSS), familiarity with Angular framework
