PROJECT DESCRIPTION
We are looking Cobol experts for multi application portfolio. The applications are divided between 5 teams.
The immediate focus for the development of urgent new features and support of existing solutions.
A long term plan is to migrate mainframe assets to Java microservices. The extra theme is a rationalization of current assets.
WHAT YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL LOOK LIKE:

WHAT YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL LOOK LIKE:
- Development of new features and onboarding new data streams
- Manual and Automateed testing
- Automation and DevOps
- Design and Architecture
- Planning and execution
- Statistics and data analysis
- Batching
SKILLS YOU SHOULD HAVE:
MUST HAVE
- Eloquent english and superb softskills
- Ability to independently analyse, set the task, propose solutiion, sell solution and deliver it
- Mainframe developer (COBOL, DB2, MQ, JCL, CICS, TSO).
- Candidates with knowledge about XML will be preferred.
- Agile mindset
- Team player
NICE TO HAVE
- Apache Kafka and Java
- Payments or Credit risk background is a plus
