Job description


Are you an open-minded individual looking for new challenges? Our client from investment banking industry is currently setting up End User Migration Factory - new area from scratch. Infrastructure Security Engineering (ISE) & Migration Factory Services team is looking for M365 solutions Deployment Manager to support them with migration activities and stay close to the End Users.

Responsibilities

The skillset we are looking for are, but not limited to:

  • Understand the technical objectives for all migration strategies related to your stakeholders;
  • Close liaison with stakeholders;
  • Schedule meetings to track migration plans;
  • Document issues and actions;
  • Communicate progress;
  • Follow up on actions/issues;
  • Manage test results and sign-off;
  • Regular reporting to Project Lead and migration Management Team;
  • Work closely with technical execution teams to plan and schedule migrations;
  • Push and track delivery;
  • Assist with complete application analysis, including but not limited to:

o Server migration requirements,
o Database migration requirements,
o Group share migration requirements,
o User access requirements,
o Technical service account requirements,

  • Troubleshoot and resolve migration issues;
  • Monitor technical resource capacity:

o Highlight gaps,
o Escalate resource availability issues that may impact planned migrations,
o Manage stakeholder expectations.

  • Provide overall migration progress and reporting for all applications on a regular basis

Skills

Must have

  • Experience in managing Microsoft Office 365 services (either Exchange Online / SharePoint Online / or OneDrive for business or, ideally, all listed);
  • Experience in managing cloud collaboration tools such as M365, preferably with Exchange administration;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders;
  • Ability to produce knowledge base articles and other online supporting documentation;
  • Experience in dealing with the End Users (on previous positions like Service Desk Agent, Support Engineer or similar).

Nice to have

  • Previous experience with M365 migration projects is beneficial.
