About the project

The project is delivered for the public sector and involves the development and maintenance of systems responsible for processing financial and accounting data.

We are looking for a person with experience in building enterprise systems based on Java and Oracle technologies, as well as participation in projects related to generating accounting entries, including the implementation of the double-entry bookkeeping method.

The role includes both developing new functionalities and maintaining and optimizing existing system components.

Your main responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of applications based on Java and Oracle

• Implementation of new business functionalities

• Introducing changes and modifications to the existing system

• Analysis and fixing of application errors

• Working with Hibernate and JPA frameworks

• Creating and developing REST API integrations

• Cooperation with the analytical and testing teams

• Participation in CI/CD processes and deployments

• Working according to code quality and testing best practices

Required skills

• Minimum 2 years of commercial experience working with Java

• Experience working with JPA and Hibernate

• Practical knowledge of Spring Boot and Maven

• Experience working with Oracle databases

• Knowledge of database migration tools, e.g. Flyway

• Experience writing unit and integration tests (JUnit 5, Spock, TestContainers)

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes (Jira, Bamboo, Bitbucket, Docker)

• Familiarity with Swagger / OpenAPI

• Attention to code quality and software development best practices

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Angular

• Experience in the development or maintenance of financial and accounting systems

• Knowledge of accounting entries and financial business logic principles
