Solution Architect (DH)

We are looking for a Solution Architect for Lufthansa’s Digital Hangar Department. The focus of Digital Hangar (DH) is the improvement of passenger experience throughout the whole journey. The projects that are in focus are Lufthansa Group (Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian and Brussels) main web portals, mobile apps (iOS and Android) and B2B platforms. On top we’re developing our own R&D solutions within Hangar initiatives. ​

Who are you?

You have:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Solution Architect,
• Experience in front- & back-end software development and understanding of complex, microservice-based architectures in legacy environment,
• Familiarity with Java with Spring or comparable, JavaScript with Angular or React,
• Experience in working with SQL and NoSQL Database,
• Experience working with a cloud-based platform like Microsoft Azure Cloud and have experience with Kubernetes and Docker,
• Experience working with messaging systems like TIBCO and Kafka,
• Experience in creating architectural artifacts (e.g., diagrams),
• Experience in working in cross-functional teams in an agile environment,
• A deep understanding of different stakeholders' needs and can provide and communicate different technical solutions to business stakeholders,
• Willingness to expand my comfort zone by sometimes leaving it,
• Very good command of English language​.
