    Job description:We are working on Cloud based (AWS) self-service (allowing users to develop code) platform using micro-service approach and implementing multi-tenancy developed using market leading technologies i.e. Kubernetes (EKS), Kafka and serverless databases (Aurora).

    Written in Java/Kotlin, using Spring (Web/Data/Security) but also applying other programming languages like i.e. Python. Fancy front-end built with React and Redux. Automated CI/CD with Jenkins. Source code versioned in GitLab. Team is working in Scrum methodology.


    Technical skills:

    • Proven 3-5 years’ experience as a back-end Python developer
    • APIs, SDK development, RESTful APIs, Databases, Unix, cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and serverless approach
    • Terraform (IaaC)
    • Python
    • Unit Testing Frameworks (i.e.pytest)
    • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
    • Proven understanding of automated software application builds an d deployments
    • CI/CD approach with Git as source code repository,
    • Jenkins
    • Development tools including IntelliJ, Eclipse, etc.
    • Design patterns, SOLID principles, OOD
    • JIRA and Confluence tools


    Key responsibilities:

    • Build & extend Python SDK used across the whole company to process realtime and non-realtime data.
    • Deliver complex applications (implementation, testing, deployment, and handover to maintenance teams)
    • Work within an Agile scrum
    • Provide specialist advice to resolve complex issues
    • Develop software/scripts to provide solutions to perform all SDLC activities for all development teams using CI/CD automation
    • Make recommendations for improvements to existing architecture/design.
    • Gather requirements from customers to develop the best automation solution
