We are looking for a dedicated Elixir developer to join our client’s team.
Elixir is one of our key technological focuses. We are running several Elixir projects with various team sizes and levels of complexity using both Phoenix and OTP frameworks. Currently, we are looking to build up a team dedicated to working for one of the fintech unicorns. - Location: Warsaw or the possibility of remote work
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Implementing new functionalities on the client’s platform;
- Solving complex programming challenges using functional programming languages (Elixir);
- Doing regular code reviews/PR reviews for your colleagues;
- Maintaining existing code and bug fixing;
- Writing unit, integration, and E2E tests.

We need you if you...
- Are a back-end or full-stack developer with a 2+ years of experience
- Are familiar with Elixir language and ecosystem (Phoenix)
- Worked on a production application in AWS or Heroku
- Worked with RDBMS like PostgreSQL
- Have experience with writing tests/TDD or culture of testing your own code
- Have experience in building server-side apps, using the MVC pattern, or something similar
- Have a solid understanding of how web applications work
- Express interest in functional programming and have some functional programming experience
- Have an understanding of distributed systems and resilient applications
- Have practical knowledge of how to communicate with REST API
- Are familiar with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
It would be nice if you have:
- Experience with or knowledge of RabbitMQ or other message brokers
- Experience with AWS Cloud
