Every day more than 170k users are chatting 200k times per minute using LiveChat app. Working with such volumes is exciting, but it’s also a challenge – especially when we want to roll out new features.
To make new product feature releases go as smoothly as possible, we want to incorporate automated tests into our development process. QA Engineer with automation skills will cover the entire app with automated tests and integrate them with our existing development process. You’ll also be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automation scripts against our front-end application, as well as documenting and tracking defects identified during the testing process.
What we’re looking for:
- At least 3 years of experience in testing
- Strong QA skills including testing and defect reporting
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript
- Experience in preparing test scenarios and managing the testing process
- Good knowledge of web fundamentals: HTTP, HTML, CSS and WebSockets
- Good knowledge of test automation tools
- Good knowledge of tools for web developers (e.g. FireBug, Chrome DevTools)
- Knowledge of web services
- Self-reliance and responsibility for assigned tasks
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Nice to have:
- Experience in designing and developing an automated test environment
- Certifications such as ISTQB
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence
